JOB4me, Virtual Job Fair – Results

10 – 11 March, 2021

When we started organizing our event, we set ourselves the goal of getting JOB4me visitors prepared and our exhibitors finding the people they are happy to work with.

The success of the event is measured by how many people visited each booth, how many chat conversations took place, how many visitors the exhibitors were able to contact, as these are the data that are relevant to the appearance and that really help to find each other.

The related results are detailed below.

Based on our exhibitors’ feedback on our November 2020 event, we have further developed the following features:

Chat

Simultaneous management of several chat windows, possibility for downloading the conversations, in case of internet disconnection easy reconnection, possibility for not only text-based chat but also having voice and video-based communication, public chat, etc.

Search function and contact options

Search among the participants and the ability to contact candidates who meet your expectations.

Enriching the registration profile

The most accurate, easily filterable amount of data about participants and mandatory CV upload.

Easier registration process

An easier registration process on the exhibitors’ career portal, the usability of external links from the stands to your own websites.

Making the event livelier and vibrant

We made this with gifs, movies, animations, games, push messages and opening videos.

Educating and activating visitors

Educating visitors in our preparatory letters and activating them with a points-collecting sweepstake designed to review the stands and available positions in as much detail as possible, and to use the chat with courage.

The average number of real users to our exhibitors’ stands
1st day: 353 visitors
2nd day: 217 visitors
a total of 524 people per booth.

The highest number of real users to a stand
in 2 days is 686.

The lowest number of real users to a stand in
2 days is 442.

The highest traffic at a stand (each stand contains views, i.e. a visitor is included in the statistics as many times as (s)he visited the stand in 2 days): 1016

The lowest traffic at a stand in 2 days is 575.

In the 30 days following the event, an average of 119 more jobseekers visited the exhibitors’ stands and job advertisements.

During the 2 days, 16 career and self-developing presentations took place on the BT Virtual Stage, with an average attendance of 124 people. The most popular topics were salary negotiations, CV writing and online job interviews.

Our counselling took place on both days with a full house.

Visitors’ professional interest:

Milyen területek iránt érdeklődnek a látogatók?

Nearly 25% of visitors were looking for jobs in the field of Sales, Marketing, R. Nearly 20% of the visitors were interested in Engineering, Technical field, Office and Administration.

Similar to our virtual event in the autumn of 2020, the number of IT job seekers was outstanding this time as well, mainly compared to their presence in the labour market and their activity through other channels.

Age distribution of visitors:

Nearly 50% of those registered for the event were aged 25-34, followed by those aged 35-44 in 21%.

School education of visitors:

The majority of jobseekers were present with university and college degrees at the event, the proportion of those with a secondary education was almost 15%, and the proportion of those with an OKJ degree was 13%.

Language knowledge of visitors:

Most of the visitors had at least a medium level of English, the second spoken language was German, it was indicated by close to 1/5 of the visitors.

Experience level of visitors:

Those with 7+ years of experience were in the majority at the event, more than ¼ of visitors. Graduates were present in 22% and those with 1-3 years of experience in 20%.
